Body & Mind

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) is a molecule found in every cell of the body and is essential for life. It enables the conversion of food into energy, helps regulate the expressions of genes involved in cell viability and in the repair of damaged DNA. NAD is important to the circadian rhythm to allow more restful sleep and has significant anti-aging qualities and anti-inflammatory effects.

We use intravenous NAD as a nutritionally based treatment for addictions, PTSD, chronic stress, anxiety, depression and neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease. It has been used since the 1950’s to treat addictions without the agony of intense withdrawal, eliminating the intense cravings that can cause relapse. It has been proven at detoxing patients, eliminating cravings and reducing withdrawal symptoms in 90% of cases. Our staff administers the IV NAD in an individually formulated dosage based on the patient’s medical history. The protocol for addiction is typically 8 – 10 days but may run longer for certain drug combination addictions. Treatment is out-patient, meaning the patients do not spend the night. Daily treatment varies from day to day. The first 2 days typically run 7 -8 hours. The remaining days usually take 5-6 hours per day.

After treatment is complete the patient is no longer physically addicted and may resume a normal life. Aftercare coping strategies can be very helpful and we will be happy to refer you to any program such as AA, Individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy etc.

NAD is used in a detoxification and brain restoration protocol that helps restore mental clarity and function, elevate mood, restore memory and increase the sense of well-being.
